Bingo is a great game that is played in different parts of the world, and the list given below describes the terms that are used in the game and can be of help if you have just started out.

Bingo Board: this is where the numbers that are called out while a game is in progress are displayed.

Bingo Booklets: this refers to the booklets which have a series of differently coloured bingo sheets which would be used in one Bingo game. The sheets are generally placed in the sequence that the game would follow.

Buy In & Minimum Buy In: ‘Buy in’ refers to the least number of cards that you would need to buy to gain admission to a game. This number varies in accordance to the type of Bingo. ‘Minimum Buy in’ refers to the minimum amount you are required to spend in order to qualify for the available prizes.

Caller: this refers to the person who is responsible for calling out the drawn numbers. While this person is involved in the game, he/she cannot partake in the game as a player.

Coverall: this refers to a type of the game wherein a winner is required to cover the entire card in order to win. Not all Bingo games require a ‘coverall’ for a person to win.

Dauber: this refers to the pen which is used to mark the numbers on the Bingo cards. It usually has a foam tip that can blacken the entire number by a mere daub or touch, and therefore the name.
