Continued below is the list of commonly used Bingo terms that a beginner should ideally know.

Four Corners Bingo: this refers to a particular type of Bingo, wherein the players are required to cover the numbers which are placed in the card’s four corners. Other commonly followed patterns include the blackout, chevron, postage stamp, regular, etc.

On Player: this refers to players who are short of a single number in completing the game’s desired pattern

Random Number Generator: this refers to the machine that is occasionally used in place of the traditional ‘caller’. This machine automatically selects random numbers to be used in the game.

Six Pack & Nine Pack: these terms are used to specify the number of numbers on a bingo card for any specific game.

Tickets: these refer to the bar-codes that are used for identifying booklets when winning claims are made. These are present on every page (card) in the booklet which is used for playing the game.

Wrap Up: this refers to the type of Bingo wherein the game is the last one in a Bingo session.

Other games include the ‘quickie’ or ‘speed game’ wherein a very rapidly called out ‘coverall’ wins; the ‘moonlight’ bingo, which takes place under the light of the moon, thereby usually being a late night affair; ‘early bird’ bingo, which generally starts prior to the scheduled time; and many more.

With there being new variants added to the already long list, the choices are truly aplenty.
